Panic has gripped the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir after over 100 birds were found dead in Udhampur, Rajouri and Bilawar area of Kathua district in the last 24 hours. The poultry imports have been banned in Jammu and Kashmir.
Times Now's Pradeep Dutta reports; states that people living in Udhampur, Rajouri and Bilawar areas spotted these dead birds and later got in touch with the officials of the Wildlife Protection Department. Now the Deputy Commissioners of different areas have asked the wildlife protection department to dispose of these birds and they have collected the samples which have been sent to the Jalandhar Laboratory.
